Being a training institute SIPRD’s key activity is to provide training to Panchayat & Rural Development related functionaries to build their Capacity. SIPRD tries to orient them to be pro poor facilitator of Human Development , to be knowledgeable on the subjects dealt with by them & to be skillful on the functions they perform so that the quantity & quality of the services provided by them increases.

SIPRD conducts training either face to face direct mode or cascading mode of training. |

Direct Mode of Training: SIPRD provides direct training either in two campuses of SIPRD or off-campus in 5 Extension Training Center or CADC or District Training Venue. |

| |
|
Cascading Mode of training: Suitable trainees are identified and TOT is held by SIPRD to equip them as trainers who in turn provide training of bigger groups at lower level. |
